If you're looking for a cozy base while exploring Blaj, Pension Montana Popa is an excellent choice. I recently stayed there with my mom to celebrate her high school anniversary, and we were genuinely impressed. The spacious, recently renovated room was perfect and had all the modern comforts, including air conditioning and a minibar. What truly set the experience apart was the warm hospitality of the staff-always cheerful and eager to assist, whether it was with extra requests or arranging for spa treatments. The restaurant was a highlight, serving delicious traditional Romanian dishes that made our festive dinner memorable. Plus, with a grocery store just steps away, it's convenient for picking up snacks or drinks.
